Our veterinarians and staff know how important your pet's health and wellness is to you. Each time you bring your pet in for vaccinations, your veterinarian will provide a comprehensive physical examination, including an orthopedic assessment, body condition scoring, and nutritional and dietary needs.

Your pets dental health is also a key component to your pets overall health.Veterinary dental care begins at the puppy and kitten life stage. AAHA recommends that veterinarians evaluate puppies and kittens for problems related to the deciduous (baby) teeth, missing or extra teeth, swellings and oral development. As your pet ages, your veterinarian will look for developmental anomalies, the accumulation of plaque and tartar, periodontal disease and oral tumors.

Vaccination Schedule for Puppies and Dogs

• Distemper - an airborne viral disease of the lungs, intestines and brain

• Hepatitis - a viral disease of the liver

• Leptospirosis - a bacterial disease of the urinary tract

• Parainfluenza - infectious bronchitis

• Parvovirus - a viral disease of the intestines

• Rabies - a viral disease fatal to humans and other animals

• Corona - a viral disease of the intestines

• Bordetella - a bacterial infection of the upper respiratory system (kennel cough)

Puppies (6 weeks to 20 weeks)

Puppies are vaccinated starting at the age of 6 weeks.

• 6 weeks - Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza, Parvo (Combination Vaccine)

• 9 weeks - Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza, Parvo (Leptospirosis where applicable)

• 12 weeks - Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza, Parvo (Leptospirosis where applicable)

• 16 weeks - Parvovirus only

• 20 weeks - Parvovirus, 1 year Rabies, intranasal Bordetella (Kennel Cough)

• Intestinal parasite screening is done in 3 week intervals, 3 times through out the series.This is usually done starting at 6 weeks.

• Each time your puppy will be weighed and we will dispense that months heartworm prevention and flea prevention.

• At your puppy's 20 week visit, we will schedule a time to bring him/her in for spaying or neutering.

• In addition to routine vaccinations and altering, we now offer preemptive regenerative cell therapy for your puppy. Ask your veterinarian for more information on get a step up on treating future illnesses such as degenerative arthritis and chronic injuries.

Adult Dogs (after 1 year)

• Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza, Parvo (Leptospirosis where applicable) - Every 3 years

• Leptospirosis - Once a year (This is for dogs that receive this vaccination)

• Rabies - Once a year

• Heartworm test - Once a year

• Bordatella (Kennel Cough) - Once a year

• Intestinal Parasite screening - Once a year

• All dogs should be kept on a heartworm preventative, such as Sentinel or Heartgard, year round
